PAUSE:
A Gathering to Reflect & Reconnect

Pause is a pay if/as/what you can community gathering, a fundraising,
and a social economic experiment.
What this means is that no one will be turned away for lack of funds and we also need the support from those who have financial means. Currently we are two part-time committed organizers who are creating and building the infrastructure for the event for our gatherings, common areas, food, scavenger hunt, hiking paths, programming, communications, etc.
You will have the option to contribute financially for the event prior or after the event. There will be also options to participate in the offerings, energy and work exchange.
Suggested Contribution Guide
To make this gathering sustainable and accessible, we recommend a contribution of $350–$400 per person, for those with financial means. This supports the core costs of the event while helping us offer access spots to those with limited means.
Here’s a breakdown of how your contribution supports the whole:
-
$100 – Covers your materials and food
-
$200 – Adds support for one community organizer
-
$300 – Supports both community organizers
-
$400 – Helps fund access spots for others
-
$500 – Adds honorariums for guest offerings
-
$500+ – Supports all of the above and contributes to long-term infrastructure (like the Dancing Barn project)
Please choose the amount that feels right and possible for you.
We appreciate each person finding a way to offer their fair share, so that this event can be rooted in reciprocity and shared care.
